Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Lime juice (about 1 lime) additional for garnish if desired
  • 1 tablespoon Warm water
  • 2 tablespoon Swerve Confectioners Powdered Sweetener or low carb sweetener of your choice
  • 3 oz. Tequila
  • Ice
  • Salt for lining the rim of your glass

Instructions

  • Squeeze the juice of one lime into a small bowl.

  • Place the warm water and Swerve sweetener into another bowl and whisk to combine well.

  • Pour the tequila, sweetener syrup and lime juice into a shaker cup or mason jar, and shake well to combine.

  • Wet the rim of your co*cktail glasses, and line with coarse salt.

  • Place the ice into your glasses.

  • Separate the margarita mixture evenly between your two co*cktail glasses and serve with a garnish of fresh lime.

Notes

More or less sweetener can be added if desired without affecting the finished result.

    STOP IT!!!!!YOU CANNOT DRINK ALCOHOL ON KETO!!! ITS METABOLICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO BE IN KETOSIS DRINKING ANY KINK OF ALCOHOL! Alcohol has no nutrients.

      Great recipe. Thanks! But, is there a reason for so many dishes? I combined my sweetener and water in the shaker cup, squeezed in the juice on top of that, and then added the tequila. The next time I will drink right out of the shaker cup for a truly one ‘bowl’ method! 🙂

        Good catch! No! You don't need to use that many dishes. Easier to just mix in a shaker cup and serve!
