The app WiiU USB Helper is well known here. It works perfectly for WiiU games as well as Virtual Console games for systems such as Super Famicom/Nintendo, Gameboy Advance, DS, etc.
In the app, however, there are some Wii games such as Xenoblade, WarioLand Shake, Super Paper Mario, etc.
These games don't have the word "Virtual Console" on a black background on the icon. Instead, they have a white icon with the word "Wii".
My question is, how do these games work?
Do you install them to system NAND like any other game? (like installing Super Mario RPG (VC) or Game and Wario(WiiU), from example)
Do they run by choosing the vWii icon on the WiiU main menu?
Do they run like regular WiiU games (like Bayonetta) from the WiiU menu?
Do you need to hack the vWii to run them?
I tried searching the web for answers to these questions but I couldn't find anything.
Everything Wii related to the WiiU is for things like the Homebrew Channel, CFG USB Loader, CIOS, and running games from USB like in the regular Wii, but no mention of these few Wii games from WIIU USB Helper.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

1) Yes, you can install them like any regular Wii U or VC game
2) Yes, they can be launched via the icon on the home menu
3) Yes, although it seems many of them require either CFW/sig patches
4) No, you don't need to modify the vWii for them to run

Thanks rafaelia.
I'll give some of those a try.

Some vWii games out-of-region will not run with vWii due to it's region-locking.

thank you. first question: what does it mean "some might require cfw"? if i'm using haxchi i'm already under a cfw.
second: "for other wii games (and gamecube)". For "other wii games" you mean wii games unaivalable on eshop? and what's vc script? vwii?
thank you in advance.

if you run cfw you have nothing to worry about.you can inject wii iso and gamecube games with wiivc injector (no need to hack the vwii part).but only same region as your console for max compatibility.
check this https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-wiivc-injector-script-gc-wii-homebrew-support.483577/

thank you for the answer. i didn't know we could inject wii iso and gamecube games with wiivc injector. many guides are obsolete and do not mention this possibility. is it possibile to inject 3ds games too?
wii u and wii games copied through usb helper can be installed on the same external hard disk? is it the same for other injected games?
